Choozr Privacy Policy¶

Choozr, a digital sizing and made-to-measure online service and mobile application (“Service), is owned and operated by Choozr Group Ltd, Friitalantie 11 B, 28400 Ulvila, Finland, [email protected] (“Choozr”, “we,” “our” or “us”).

Choozr is the data controller for the Service. Any and all use and processing of your personally identifiable information by Choozr is governed by the laws of Finland and the European Community (EU) and this Privacy Policy. Choozr may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If Choozr makes material changes to this Privacy Policy, Choozr will post a notice on Service internet pages along with the updated Privacy Policy. Your continued use of Services will signify your acceptance of the changes to this Privacy Policy. When you accept this Privacy Policy, you accept that your personal information is collected, shared, and used as explained below:

The Service is a digital sizing and made-to-measure online service which is primarily designed to help you to share your measurements or images with tailors online. All measurements, images, and other information you share at the Service are always private. Our mobile application produces user-specific body measurement details, which we collect and store in the cloud service. The measurement details are used to offer clothing size recommendations in our Service, according to the user account profile and preferences. You are the official data controller for the measurements and images and other information you post to the tailors.

2. Types of personal information Choozr collects¶

Choozr collects the following information:

Data on registration for the Service, such as name, email and mail address other contact information, date of birth, country, gender, and body measurement details;

Login data: username and user password;

Facebook Connect information: You can log in to our Services using Facebook Connect sign-in service. Facebook will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with Choozr such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign up form;

Google Sign-In information: You can log in to our Services using Google Sign-In service. Google will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with Choozr such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign up form;

Sign in with Apple information: You can log in to our Services using Sign in with Apple service. Apple will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with Choozr such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign up form;

Email and other communications: subscriptions for newsletters, marketing emails, and other communications, and data about sending, receiving, and reading the communications;

Cookies and Service usage data: To collect information about your web session and how you use the Service and navigate to and through the Service, your browser will store a small text file (Cookie), web beacon, or other similar files on your computer. They are used to optimize the Service and advertisements according to your interests. You can enable your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so may affect the use of Services. Permanent cookies remain on your computer’s hard drive until you delete them manually using your browser or operating system software.

Your location: Our Service starts to collect location data from sources such as GPS signals once you install the application and consent to the application’s tracking of your location by activating the location feature. Location features are only available if you activate them. You can deactivate these features at any time and Choozr will stop collecting this type of information. The location data is processed and stored only for the duration that is required for the provision of the location-related services. Choozr will not share your GPS location with third parties without your consent. However, Choozr shall have the right to share anonymized location data (any private individual cannot be identified) with third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

3. Use of the collected personal information¶

Any of the collected information may be used for the following and similar purposes in compliance with your preferences:

to provide, manage and develop the Services and other Choozr´s services and products and related advertising; provide user and technical support; and monitor compliance with the Service terms and conditions;

to contact you and send you service messages, invitations, and other social networking messages; promotional material or special offers, free newsletters, or e-mails in order to share information about the products and services of Choozr and its marketing partners and advertisers; and

to monitor and analyze the use of the Service, and use profiling in order to improve, optimize and personalize the Service, content, and advertisements according to your interests and actions in the Service.

4. Disclosure and transfer of personal information¶

Choozr may store and/or transfer your personal data to its affiliates and partners in and outside of EU/EEA member states and the United States in accordance with mandatory legislation and this Privacy Policy. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other similar event involving all or a portion of Choozr, your personal information may be transferred to Choozr’s successor or assignee. We may also release your information when it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce this Privacy Policy, or protect Choozr´s or others´ rights, property, or safety.

Without your consent, we do not sell, or otherwise, disclose personal information to outside parties. Choozr may hire agents and contractors to collect and process personal data on Choozr’s behalf. In such cases, Choozr has the right to share your personal data as necessary for the aforementioned third parties to provide their services for Choozr. Choozr is not liable for the acts and omissions of these third parties, except as provided by mandatory law.

5. Security of your personal information¶

Personal data collected by Choozr is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public. Only those Choozr´s employees and subcontractors who need to process your information to do their work are allowed access. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information of Service Users. However, no data system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Retention of personal information¶

Choozr deletes all aforementioned data in its possession when it is not needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless required or permitted by law or needed to resolve disputes, enforce Choozr´s user agreements, or comply with technical or legal requirements and constraints related to the security, integrity, and operation of Services. As is your legal right, granted by privacy laws, you have a "right to be forgotten" and remove all of your personal information from the Service. You can remove your personal information from the mobile application, on your profile page. As is your legal right, granted by privacy laws, you can export all of your personal information in a computer-readable format. You can download all of your details using the Choozr Takeout tool.

7. Third-party websites or services¶

Please note that your access to and use of the Services may be subject to third-party terms and conditions and privacy policies, including but not limited to mobile software platforms, social networking services, and payment providers. Choozr may also make available links through advertisements or otherwise which enable you to access third-party products or services. You recognize and agree that Choozr is not liable for any such third-party terms and conditions and their use of your personal data.

8. Your options to control your personal information¶

Choozr does not verify the correctness of personal data. In the Profile section, you can change your profile publicity options and your preferences for email marketing and participation in contests, etc; and change or update other personal information you have provided to us. In addition, you can choose to share your email address with Choozr´s partners to receive their offers. You can always opt out of receiving promotional emails (such as newsletters or offers) from Choozr by sending a request to [email protected].

Upon your request, Choozr makes good faith efforts to enable you to review, update, correct or delete your personal data in Choozr’s possession. Choozr will need to verify your identity and your access request.
